You will be working all over the world, with the flagship events being held in the US. These large-scale events attract some of the biggest players in the tech world!

They are seeking a Sponsorship Sales Manager to play an integral part in the ongoing growth of one of the most renowned women in tech sector portfolios in the industry. Working closely with the Head of Sales and other sales team members, you will develop the products and hit revenue targets. The successful candidate will have proven event sales and account management experience as well as an understanding of developing new business opportunities.

The Role:
  • Identify & develop new commercial opportunities with the sales team to hit agreed event sales targets
  • Nurture an existing global customer portfolio, build close customer relationships with decision makers & use a highly consultative sales process, to maintain and grow annual spend
  • Identify new opportunities and generate leads through competitor analysis, industry news and research
  • Proactively engage in phone and email outbound prospecting and customer engagement
  • Build and manage a personal sales pipeline to exceed sales targets for repeat and new business

About You:
  • A proven track record of hitting revenue targets, developing new business, and managing key customer accounts 
  • Experience in selling event and conference solutions to a global audience, managing customers in different time zones and being sensitive to cultural differences
  • Proven success working to deadlines and prioritising sales activities across multiple projects at any one time, including cross-selling of products
  • Ability to negotiate and develop working relationships with senior decision makers
  • Understanding of diversity and inclusion and the importance of it across different industries
  • Excellent communication and confident telephone manner

We have two positions which require slightly different skillsets
  • £42,500 basic + commission. Expected OTE: c. £90k (Account Management focused)
  • £45,000 + expected commission £30k (New business outreach focused)
