We are thrilled to share an exciting opportunity for a Spanish-speaking Event Manager to join a dynamic events company based in London. The successful Event Manager will organise a busy portfolio of sustainability events across Europe, North America, Latin America, and MENA – so expect an exciting career taking you to every corner of the globe!

Reporting to the Head of Operations; the Event Manager will be responsible for all logistical organisation of a portfolio of in-person international events.

Customer care, enthusiasm and organisation are key. The candidate should have experience of the event sector and be confident in hotel negotiations. 

Key responsibilities:
  • Source venues
  • Hotel/Venue negotiations
  • Supplier negotiations (AV, stage & set, signage, floorplans/exhibition)
  • End to end operational management of allocated events
  • Maintaining budgets to ensure target profits are achieved
  • Work closely with the sales team to create and deliver the exhibition floorplan and ensure all Sponsor deliverables are met
  • Working closely with Marketing team to ensure the brand awareness at the event
  • Working closely with Production team to ensure the speaker requirements are met
  • Must be able to travel and attend all events within your allocation (current event locations include; Europe, North America, Latin America and MENA)

About You:
  • Fluent in Spanish (reading, writing and speaking) – essential.
  • 1-2 years of end-to-end event management experience
  • Experience with international hotels and venues
  • Exceptional communication skills both written and verbal
  • Attention to detail and meticulous planning skills
  • Self-motivated. Ability to work autonomously, take initiative and be proactive
  • Works well under pressure and to tight deadlines
  • Team player with a roll-up-sleeves approach
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to manage multiple events at any given time

Salary: £32,000
Location: London – min. 2 days a week in office
Start date - ASAP
