Leading UK charity that funds and supports agricultural education and countryside learning is looking to recruit a Membership Executive, to assist with the future development of their membership services, as well as get involved with marketing the charity and their programme of popular annual events.

About you

  • Previous experience in a similar membership role
  • Marketing experience across print and digital would be an advantage  
  • Confident, comfortable speaking with members and potential members over the phone
  • Copy writing and proof reading skills
  • Strong organisational skills and time management
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Good teamwork skills – someone who can hit the ground running
  • Events experience also a plus
  • A desire to work for a charity

Key responsibilities include

  • Providing full support across the company’s membership administration
  • Maintain, build and update mailing, membership databases and responding to queries
  • Involvement in membership committee meetings incl. preparing agendas, minutes
  • Logistical and marketing duties for events, both in house and 3rd party organised
  • Work closely and cohesively with suppliers including marketing and PR agencies, volunteers, Trustees and Members
  • Order processing, payments and membership collateral
  • Being the first point of contact for phone enquiries across the organisation
  • Support day to day marketing campaigns, deadlines and deliveries across all campaigns
  • Support of event logistics and on-site event coordination on site
