Head of Programmes 

An excellent opportunity for a Senior Conference Producer to take the next step up to a Head of Programmes role! You will work in a hugely successful team producing Public Sector training courses.

As the Head of Programmes you will be responsible for scheduling all courses, looking at topic generation and motivating and developing a team of 6 employees ranging from Programme Assistants to Senior Programme Managers.

Tasks & Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all content across courses (from topic generation, through to sourcing trainers / speakers and on the day delivery)
  • To manage and develop a team of 6. Checking all topics and proofing programmes
  • Scheduling the courses throughout the year
  • Managing key relationships with trainers and speakers
  • Supporting the Head of Division with financial forecasts

Ideal Candidate:

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience within the conference industry, either producing conferences or training courses
  • Experience managing or mentoring a small team of producers
  • Strong commercial understanding
  • Self-motivated, professional and focused in all aspects of work
  • Ability to lead from the front while not shying from rolling up your sleeves
