Leading B2B conference and events company specializing in energy and infrastructure is looking for an experienced Senior Events Marketing Manager. The successful candidate will take responsibility for delivering approx. 3/4 effective event marketing campaigns per annum as well as playing a key supporting role to the Head of Marketing in the daily management of the marketing team.

You will direct manage at least one marketer, and will work closely with the Head of Digital, webmaster and project team members. This is a great opportunity to join an innovative, fast-paced and exciting organization.

About you:

  • At least 3-4 years’ experience within a B2B conference/events environment
  • A proactive, energetic and positive individual with the experience of motivating, developing and support a high performing team
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of conference products, markets and brands
  • Ability to oversee effective campaign execution
  • Experience of CRM or database management preferred
  • Ability to manage multiple projects at the same time
  • Good time management - capable of managing multiple projects and meeting tight deadlines
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Good combination of creative and analytical skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Able to travel internationally where necessary

Key responsibilities include:

  • Understand, communicate and deliver the event brand to the desired target market 
  • Effectively manage staff members adhering to company standards
  • Create and implement innovative and effective marketing plans
  • Identify and utilize the most appropriate and effective marketing mediums to deliver the product to market
  • Produce high quality, innovative and tailored marketing materials 
  • Maximize both new client acquisition and client retention
  • Effectively manage, build, update and maintain the company database
  • Ensure the most effective strategy and data is identified and sourced for each event
