Leading organiser of B2B conferences is looking for an ambitious individual who wants to take on full responsibility for the marketing of a fast growing and industry leading conference & exhibition within the Petrochemicals industry.

As the Events Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for working with the head of the division to ensure the event is marketed exceptionally, whilst playing a key role in taking the event to the next level.

About you

  • 3-4 years in B2B exhibition / conference marketing
  • Keen to take your marketing knowledge to the next level by learning and applying ‘best practice’
  • Able to teach, train and encourage colleagues
  • Able to negotiate effective global media partnerships
  • Excellent digital marketing skills, including analytics, PPC, SEO and social media
  • A strong, proactive person and a true self-starter
  • Strong brand focus and understanding of the needs of your target audience
  • Creative thinker
  • Strong copywriting skills
  • Highly organised
  • Availability to travel internationally

Key responsibilities include

  • Planning & executing campaigns for delegate, sponsorship, exhibition and visitor marketing
  • Driving digital marketing strategy
  • Analysing campaigns and adapting campaigns based on results
  • Working with content, sales functions and head of team to align all activities and goals
  • Work with internal CRM and email platforms
  • Work external creative agencies to produce collateral across all channels
  • Manage website development
  • Build and develop partnerships with key titles, associations and key influencers
  • Manage event marketing budgets
